Cataract Phases 2&3 Tunnel Support Appin

As head contractor, RIX completed the works on a tight programme in confined space conditions adhering to strict quality, environmental and safety controls, while performing majority of the scope of works in-house. Works include dewatering of tunnel, demolition of existing support systems, removal of existing HDPE pipework, installation of 12 extensometers, 300 GRP and cable bolts, 500m2 of HDPE mesh and permeation grouting to improve support systems.
