Site/Project Engineer - NSW Major Projects
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Major Project Division Manager and Senior Manager you will be responsible for:
- Liaising with clients, site crews and subcontractors to ensure all works are carried out in a safe, efficient and quality manner in accordance with project specifications.
- Reviewing and understanding the contract and scope of works
- Preparation of shift reports, measuring works, cost tracking and preparation of monthly progress claims (on a progressive basis)
- Budgeting, forecasting and monitoring project financial performance
- Complete material take-offs and calculate required material quantities.
- Project planning and programming, ensure projects are adequately resourced with plant and labour.
- Coordinate plant and equipment, including arranging repairs and maintenance.
- Raise purchase orders for plant, equipment and materials required for the works
- Onboarding plant and people onto projects, including coordinating inductions and plant inspections.
- Preparation of Safety (SWMS), Environmental and Quality documents
- Arranging testing of the works and completion of QA requirements
- Building sound client relationships; and
- Other tasks as may be required.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical engineering;
- Full driving license;
- OHS Construction White Card;
- Must be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol Screen.
