Site/Project Engineer - NSW Major Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Major Project Division Manager and Senior Manager you will be responsible for:
• Liaising with clients, site crews and subcontractors to ensure all works are carried out in a safe, efficient and quality manner in accordance with project specifications.
• Reviewing and understanding the contract and scope of works
• Preparation of shift reports, measuring works, cost tracking and preparation of monthly progress claims (on a progressive basis)
• Budgeting, forecasting and monitoring project financial performance
• Complete material take-offs and calculate required material quantities.
• Project planning and programming, ensure projects are adequately resourced with plant and labour.
• Coordinate plant and equipment, including arranging repairs and maintenance. 
• Raise purchase orders for plant, equipment and materials required for the works
• Onboarding plant and people onto projects, including coordinating inductions and plant inspections.
• Preparation of Safety (SWMS), Environmental and Quality documents 
• Arranging testing of the works and completion of QA requirements
• Building sound client relationships; and
• Other tasks as may be required.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical engineering;
• Full driving license;
• OHS Construction White Card;
• Must be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol Screen.
