Overview
Due to the progressive deterioration of the crib walls adjacent to Southern Cross Drive and General Holmes Drive, RIX was selected to construct a soil nail, shotcrete and a featured concrete wall. The main challenges were: to cope with the latent ground conditions, working in night shift with limited time span, and construction of an in-situ featured wall, while guaranteeing the aesthetic quality of the final product.
