Rix is looking to fill a permanent role within our estimating team, based in our head office in Kurnell, NSW.
A permanent role within our estimating team, based in our head office in Kurnell, NSW. Estimation to the highest detail required, achieved through utilising skills and experience gained in the geotechnical/civil sector. Contributing to our output of tenders to continue to build on a strong existing Client base. Part of a positive culture that encourages innovation and gold standard team interaction in a flexible and autonomous environment.
About You
You will be a proven estimator from the geotechnical and civil construction industry.
You will bring technical knowledge, an eye for detail and continuous improvement of systems and processes.
You will be keen to maximise the opportunity to learn and further develop your skills through exposure to multiple ground engineering disciplines. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years’ experience in the Civil/Geotechnical Construction industry in estimating
- A mix of project and estimating experience is ideal
- First principle estimating experience
- Experience with the development of subcontractor work packages and review
- Civil Engineering degree is preferred
- Outstanding communication, influencing and negotiation skills
