TUNNEL CONSTRUCTION  

RIX have provided specialist civil contracting services to many of the major tunneling projects recently completed in NSW including:

  •        Epping to Chatswood Rail Link (Thiess-Hochtief JV)
  •        Cross City Tunnel (Baulderstone Hornibrook)
  •        Lane Cove Tunnel (Thiess-John Holland)
  •        Bondi Junction Rail Cross Over Tunnel (Baulderstone Hornibrook)

 

   

 

 Rix have been contracted to undertake a variety of civil works packages on these projects including:

  • ­   Construction/installation of reinforced concrete roof arch form
  • ­   Capping beams
  • ­   Detention tanks
  • ­   Vent shaft slabs & beams
  • ­   Installation of precast concrete bridge beams
