Flooding in Queensland caused extensive landslip damage through the Blackbutt Range. VDM Constructions approached RIX to take on the challenge of stabilising the batters along the 2 kilometre stretch of highway to safely enable the restoration of this vital transport corridor.

To date this project has had 1,690m3 of shotcrete sprayed, 4,018m of soil nails drilled, 1,000m of inclined drains drilled, 4662m2 of rock fall netting installed & 11,560m2 of batters meshed and sprayed in shotcrete. Works are ongoing.
