RIX appointed by CPB Ghella

The RIX Group is pleased to announce its appointment by CPB Ghella (CPBG) to provide services for the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport, Station Boxes and Tunnelling project.

RIX was successfully awarded the piling scope for the Airport Terminal and Airport Business Park sites which require the installation of 380 piles that are 900 millimetres in diameter and up to 28 metres deep.

Once excavation begins, RIX will supply and install the anchors at the Airport Terminal, Airport Business Park and Aerotropolis sites. This will involve about 40,000 linear metres of drilling.

The RIX Group started onsite on 20 October 2022 and looks forward to working with CPBG on this iconic Australian infrastructure project over the coming months.
