Dry Spraying and Rock Finishes
DRY SPRAYING AND ROCK FEATURES
RIX offer simulated rock and block finishes over almost any substrate. Dry spraying or dry shot spraying allows slower output thus more time for our expert artisans to cut, mould and color allowing the product to almost dissapear into the surrounding substate or landscaping.

Project: CLEM 7 Tunnel Brisbane

RIX were engaged to hand excavate, form up and create new terraces on a failing cliff below an existing house. Our Geotechnical team undertook the stabilisation works installing 6m rock bolts, 5m mini piles and structurally reinforced shotcrete, whilst our Construction team formed up the shotcrete retaining wall to allow increased area for the garden terraces. Next the Dry Spray team displayed their magic and sculptured the shotcrete into the artificial sandstone finish. Finally the project was complemented with professional landscaping, featuring plantings and natural timbers.
